At this point in the season, the New York Giants may be hyping the “run the table” talk, but in all likelihood Big Blue will miss the playoffs for the sixth time in the last seven years.
Although many are writing them off and thinking about NFL Draft position, Big Blue will continue to go out a play for Giants pride.
While their record is one of the worst in football, there are still a few players who have been impressive enough to get some votes for the Pro Bowl. Let’s take a look.
Beckham may not have lit the world on fire over the first half of the season in comparison to his production over the first three years of his career, but he’s played well in returning from a fractured ankle in 2017.
There’s no doubt the Giants’ record and some player stats have suffered from poor play by their offensive line, and Beckham is no exception. Even so, Beckham is top 10 in yards, which is always impressive. He may not have the touchdown numbers or the big plays like years past, but he has still been a difference maker to say the least.
Beckham needs five more touchdowns to get to the double-digit mark, which he has hit in every year of his career with the exception of last season where he played in just four games. Even considering the “down” year in Odell Beckham standards, the numbers and his popularity will likely be enough to get him the Pro Bowl votes.
