Alabama CB Trevon Diggs, the younger brother of Vikings WR Stefon Diggs, is another draftee hoping to be taken in the first or second round come April’s NFL Draft in Las Vegas.
Although his projections don’t see him being picked in the Top 15, the Giants (No. 4 pick) and Jets (No. 11 pick) have shown some interest in the defensive back.
Trevon said he’s already met with the Jets and will be meeting with the Giants on Saturday.
The Giants and Jets have both come up as possible destinations for Stefon, as he’s expected to be traded this offseason by the Vikings, so although he won’t have any real say in where he gets traded, the possibility of playing with his brother could push him toward asking to go to either squad should they take Trevon.
In his final season at Alabama, Trevon Diggs finished with 37 tackles (20 solo), two fumble recoveries, three interceptions and one touchdown.
