New Jersey senator and 2020 Presidential hopeful, Cory Booker, has been a lifelong New York Giants fan having grown up in Bergen County. Like most Giant fans these days, he’s being vigilant knowing the team will turn things around but at the moment, he’s suffering the indignity of five losing seasons over the past six years like everyone else.

“Love the team,” said an upbeat Booker in an interview with SNY.tv. “Am I hurting right now? Yeah, there’s pain. Am I questioning some of the decisions? Yes, I am. But, I’m faithful, I’m loyal and I’m just a prisoner of hope about this year.”

When asked if he had hope that the Giants at some point would be visiting him at the White House as Super Bowl champions when he becomes president, Booker said he’d be honored.

“Becoming the president obviously is a life aspiration but having them come as Super Bowl champions when I’m there, that would be one of the greatest moments of my life,” Booker said.

Booker winning the presidency might be a longer shot than the Giants winning the Super Bowl over the next five years. Currently Booker is pulling just 2.7 percent of the vote in the Democratic field for president.
