Will ‘Snacks’ find an NFL employer for 2020?
Long considered one of the game’s best run-defending interior linemen, Harrison’s play fell off a cliff in his age 31 season.
Per Pro Football Focus, Harrison’s overall grade fell from 92.0 in 2018 to 63.2 last year, his run defense grade dropped from 93.8 to 66.7, his tackles dropped from 58 to 35, his stops dropped from 51 to 27 and his misssed tackles rose from one in 2018 to a career-worst nine last season.
The Giants traded the 6-foot-3, 350-pound Harrison to the Lions in the middle of the 2018 season for a fifth-round pick. The Giants used that pick as part of the package they sent to the Seattle Seahawks last season to move back into Round 1 and select DeAndre Baker 30th overall.
Harrison apparently wants to continue playing in 2020.
