Giants’ 2019 schedule: Opponents for next season mostly known
Here is a look at who the Giants will be playing next season.
We know that the 2018 New York Giants will finish last in the NFC East. That means we also know nearly all of the opponents the Giants will face on their 2019 schedule.
Home
- Washington Redskins
- Green Bay Packers
- Minnesota Vikings
- Buffalo Bills
- Miami Dolphins
- NFC West — The Giants will finish last in the NFC East. That means this game will be against either the Arizona Cardinals (3-12) or the San Francisco 49ers (4-11)
- Dallas Cowboys
- Philadelphia Eagles
Away
- Washington Redskins
- Philadelphia Eagles
- NFC South — This will be against either the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-10) or Carolina Panthers (6-9), whichever finishes last in this division.
- New York Jets
- New England Patriots
- Detroit Lions
- Dallas Cowboys
- Chicago Bears
The Giants will be facing the NFC North and AFC East next season, in addition to crossover games with last-place teams in the NFC West and NFC South.
This brings about a couple of interesting matchups, especially if Eli Manning returns as the Giants’ quarterback next season. It would pit the Giants vs. the Jets — Manning vs. Sam Darnold — in a Jets’ home game. It could also bring about the final Manning vs. Tom Brady matchup.
Judge for yourself whether you think this is an easy schedule, a hard one or somewhere in-between. This far in advance I’m not even going to hazard a guess as to how good or bad any of these teams could be.
