In a recent three-round mock draft courtesy of our friends over at Draft Wire, the New York Giants selected Alabama offensive tackle Jonah Williams in Round 1 and Duke quarterback Daniel Jones in Round 2.

On Tuesday, Luke Easterling of Draft Wire took things to the next level and produced an entire seven-round mock draft — a massive undertaking that deserves a tip of the cap.

But the real question is, who did the Giants end up with? Did the projected approach change? And did they once again skip a quarterback in Round 1?

Well, there was no Jonah Williams this time around as the Giants returned to the well and selected Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins at No. 6 overall.

6. New York Giants | Dwayne Haskins | QB | Ohio State

In a real scenario, it’s highly unlikely the Giants will be able to stay at this pick and still land Haskins, who is widely regarded as the top passer in this class. If they do, it would be the perfect match of need and value for a team that needs a successor for Eli Manning.

In Round 2, and with no third-round pick due to the selection of cornerback Sam Beal in the 2018 Supplemental Draft, the Giants then opted to address their offensive line.

37. New York Giants | David Edwards | OT | Wisconsin

Back on the board in Round 4, the Giants beefed up their defensive line before shifting gears in the later rounds. Here’s a look at how their final picks shapes up:

101. New York Giants | Daniel Wise | DL | Kansas

125. New York Giants (from NO) | Joe Giles-Harris | LB | Duke

131. New York Giants (from SF) | Dru Samia | OL | Oklahoma

132. New York Giants | Sheldrick Redwine | S | Miami (FL)

166. New York Giants | Joejuan Williams | CB | Vanderbilt

196. New York Giants | Travis Fulgham | WR | Old Dominion

208. New York Giants (from MIN) | Ryquell Armstead | RB | Temple

This is a deep dive into the late rounds prior to the NFL Combine, and given the areas of need the Giants will carry into the draft, this mock draft covers just about every one of them. And while the names in the mid-to-late rounds of the NFL Draft will undoubtedly change, this represents the positions New York will likely focus on.

How would you feel about this draft haul, Giants fans?
