Giants’ Michael Thomas will head to Pro Bowl

Thomas will replace Cory Littleton of the Rams

A fourth member of the New York Giants, safety/special teamer Michael Thomas, has been added to the NFC Pro Bowl roster. He joins Saquon Barkley, Aldrick Rosas and Olivier Vernon.

Like Vernon, Thomas will be a replacement player. He will take the spot of Cory Littleton, the Los Angeles Rams linebacker who will be participating in the Super Bowl. Safety Landon Collins was named to the team but will not participate due to having undergone shoulder surgery.

Thomas came to the Giants after five seasons with the Miami Dolphins. This will be his first Pro Bowl appearance.

Thomas was a core special teams player who led those units with nine tackles (six solo) and one forced fumble. He also contributed 47 tackles (32 solo), two interceptions, six passes defensed, and one sack while starting six games on defense.

Thomas is also the Giants’ 2018 NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year Award nominee.
