The New York Giants continued tinkering with their offseason roster on Thursday, announcing that they have signed cornerback Michael Hunter to a reserve/futures contract.
Hunter, who joined the team as an undrafted rookie out of Oklahoma State in 2016, has spent each of the previous three seasons on and off of the Giants’ practice squad.
In between stops with the Giants. Hunter has also been signed to the practice squads of the New York Jets, Denver Broncos, Buffalo Bills and Houston Texans.
The 6-foot, 192-pound Hunter has appeared in six career games (was also active for two in Denver), recording four solo tackles, all coming in 2016.
In total, the Giants have now signed 12 players to reserve/futures contracts. The entire list can be seen below:
