New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard (ribs) and linebacker Tae Davis (ankle) both left the the Giants’ game versus the Chicago Bears on Sunday with injuries. They are questionable to return.
Shepard was hurt on a pass play over the middle where he couldn’t come up with the football. Bears rookie linebacker Roquan Smith landed on Shepard, who came off the field wincing and holding his side.
Davis was injured on a punt coverage and limped into the locker room.
In addition to Shepard and Davis, tight end Rhett Ellison was also dinged up in the first half, but eventually returned to the game.
