The New York Giants (3-7) travel down the turnpike to face the Philadelphia Eagles (4-6), who are coming off the worst defeat any defending Super Bowl team has ever endured — a 48-7 drubbing by the Saints in New Orleans.

Here are six other things to know as we head into Sunday’s game.

Since the 2008 season, Philadelphia has played the Giants 22 times and beaten them 17, including once in the postseason. The Giants have lost eight of the last nine going back to 2014.

During that period, Andy Reid was 8-3 against the Giants. His successor, Chip Kelly, was 5-2. Kelly was fired in Week 16 of the 2015 season. Pat Shurmur was named interim head coach for the Week 17 game against the Giants in which the Eagles won, 35-30.

Since Doug Pederson took over in 2016, the Eagles have defeated the Giants in four of the five meetings to date.
