Coverage of special teams, offensive linemen and running backs begins Friday
Day one of the NFL Combine did not disappoint as many players put on impressive performance at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
The quarterbacks who participated had strong showings as Jalen Hurts recorded a 40-yard dash time of 4.59 and showed accuracy in his on-field work. Oregon’s Justin Herbert and Utah State’s Jordan Love also had solid performances, vying for the No. 3 overall QB spot in the draft. Alabama wide receiver Henry Ruggs III recorded a very fast 40-yard dash time of 4.27 seconds, but it wasn’t enough to beat the record of 4.22 held by John Ross.
Today, the special teams players, offensive linemen and running backs will take the field, hoping they can also turn some heads.

There are several notable running backs to keep an eye on during Friday’s position drills and workouts. Eyes will be on Georgia’s D’Andre Swift, Wisconsin’s Jonathan Taylor, Ohio State’s J.K. Dobbins and Utah’s Zack Moss.
The offensive line group also includes some potential first-round picks, including Alabama offensive tackle Jedrick Wills Jr., Louisville offensive tackle Mekhi Becton, Georgia offensive tackle Andrew Thomas and Iowa offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs.
