The Giants have won four of their last five games with Manning throwing for 10 touchdowns and two interceptions in those four wins.
This recent hot streak comes on the heels of a 1-7 start to the season by the Giants.
During that stretch of games, Manning threw for just 11 touchdown passes, leading many to believe that this would be his last season as a member of the team.
But it seems like feelings have changed recently.
The Giants don’t have their future franchise quarterback on the current roster, allowing for Manning to be a “bridge” option for yet another season.
If they don’t wind up retaining him, they would save $17 million in cap space by releasing him.
