According to Dan Duggan of The Athletic, Giants rookie quarterback Kyle Lauletta is active for Sunday’s game vs the Bears.
This will be the first time Lauletta has been active for a game in his NFL career.
With the team virtually eliminated from playoff contention, it certainly makes a ton of sense to give him some snaps and see what he offers.
The Giants have been rolling with Alex Tanney as their backup quarterback all season.
Head coach Pat Shurmur hinted at Tanney potentially getting a chance at starting as the season dwindles down.
But he will be inactive today.
