According to Paul Schwartz of the NY Post, “don’t be so quick” to think NY Giants cornerback Janoris Jenkins will be a cap casualty this offseason.

Jenkins has a cap hit of $14.5 million next season and the team can save $7.5 million by releasing him.

Giants Work Out Cornerback

According to Howard Balzer, the New York Giants tried out defensive backs Bene Benwikere and Dezmen Southward this week.

Benwikere was a former fifth-round pick of Dave Gettleman back in 2014 with the Carolina Panthers.

According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, safety Landon Collins might have played his last game with the New York Giants.

Garafolo adds that it is “reasonable” and a “possibility” that Collins has season-ending surgery.
