New York Giants: Odell Beckham Jr.’s Injury Sounds Bad

According to New York Giants head coach Pat Shurmur, wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is being “further evaluated” today for a quad injury at the Hospital For Special Surgery.

He didn’t practice on Thursday.

Shurmur added that “it doesn’t mean anything” but as we’ve seen in the past, Shurmur doesn’t always tell the media the whole story.

List of Shurmur’s lies and media weirdness:

Beckham Jr. was injured weeks ago against the Philadelphia Eagles but played the following week vs the Chicago Bears.

It clearly flared up enough last week to force him to miss the team’s road game vs the Washington Redskins.

The fact that Shurmur is downplaying this issue is a bad look, considering, his recent history of lying and not detailing injury situations to the media.

Not that he needs to tell the media the truth, but take whatever he says with a grain of salt.

That is all.
