According to Dan Duggan of The Athletic, roster moves are expected tomorrow by the NY Giants.

He mentions that not only is tomorrow the deadline to activate running back Jonathan Stewart from Injured Reserve but the team could also activate a defensive back from the practice squad.

On Wednesday, the team placed safety Landon Collins on Injured Reserve, leaving their secondary in a vulnerable situation.

Collins, who is set to hit free agency this offseason, will likely need 4-6 months of recovery time after partially tearing his labrum.

Aside from practice squad options (A.J. Howard, Kenny Ladler, Ronald Zamort), the team worked out Dezmen Southward earlier in the week.

Maybe he’s an option they turn to for depth in their secondary.
