NY Giants Scout Big-Time College Football Games On Saturday

The NY Giants had scouts on hand for some big-time college football games on Saturday.

The Giants are certainly doing their homework when it comes to the upcoming NFL Draft.

General manager Dave Gettleman has now been in attendance to watch potential first-round quarterbacks Justin Herbert and Will Grier.

And the rest of his scouting department have been running around to watch other big-time programs like Alabama and Penn State.

Saturday was another big day for the Giants in terms of scouting.

Let’s take a look.

Michigan-Ohio State 

It is being reported that the Giants had scouts on hand for the Michigan-Ohio State game.

Michigan and Ohio State have a bevvy of potential first-round defensive players (Dre’Mont Jones, Rashan Gary, Chase Winovich, Devin Bush).

But they have two draft-eligible quarterbacks in Shea Patterson and Dwayne Haskins who are interesting prospects.

Duke-Wake Forest 

According to Adam Rowe of 247 Sports, the Giants had scouts at the Duke-Wake Forest game.

Duke boasts potential first-round quarterback Daniel Jones.

North Carolina-North Carolina State 

According to Chris Stiles of the Courier Tribune, the Giants had scouts at the North Carolina-North Carolina State.

NC State quarterback Ryan Finley is draft-eligible and someone who has popped up in first-round mock drafts here and there.


According to Chad Bishop of 247 Sports, the Giants had scouts at the Vanderbilt-Tennessee game.

Kyle Shurmur, the son of Giants head coach Pat Shurmur, is the starting quarterback for Vandy.

He’s draft eligible.
