One Browns receiver wasn’t happy Odell Beckham Jr. is coming to Cleveland.
Shortly after Browns GM John Dorsey pulled the trigger on the big Beckham swap, trading the No. 17 overall pick, a third-round pick and safety Jabrill Peppers to the Giants, the team allowed Breshad Perriman to back out of a verbal contract he had agreed on Tuesday.
Perriman, entering his fourth season in the NFL, will instead join the Buccaneers, according to ESPN.
After being signed by the Browns in October, Perriman caught 16 passes for 340 yards and two touchdowns for Cleveland, getting into 10 games, but starting just two. The former first-round pick played with the Ravens in his first two seasons, with his best season coming in his rookie year in which he hauled in 33 receptions for 499 yards.
