WR Odell Beckham Jr. (quad) and LB Alec Ogletree (concussion) will not participate in Giants practice Wednesday, but head coach Pat Shurmur said “there’s a chance” that both could play in Sunday’s season finale against the Cowboys.
Beckham has missed the last three games with a bruised quad, which the receiver has described as a “hematoma.” He suffered the injury after Eagles linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill tripped him on the final play of the Giants’ Week 12 loss. Beckham played the following week against the Bears before beginning rehab.
The 26-year-old did not practice all last week, but Shurmur has been adamant that Beckham will play if he’s healthy.
The 27-year-old Ogletree, who has been one of the Giants’ best players lately, missed Sunday’s loss to the Colts.
