The Rams beat the Saints 26-23 in the NFC championship game, which means two things:
1. Los Angeles is going to the Super Bowl.
2. Another Giants player will make the Pro Bowl.
Giants safety Michael Thomas will replace the Rams’ Cory Littleton on the NFC’s roster for next week’s Pro Bowl.
Thomas will be the fifth Giants player selected to this year’s Pro Bowl, joining running back Saquon Barkley, defensive end Olivier Vernon, safety Landon Collins and kicker Aldrick Rosas. Collins is injured and will not participate.
The 29-year-old Thomas recorded 59 combined tackles, six passes defensed, two interceptions and one forced fumble in his first season with the GIants in 2018.
