Bridgewater was signed by the New York Jets this past offseason and then traded to the New Orleans Saints prior to the start of the season.
He’s attempted just three passes over the last three seasons and only once played 16 games in his five-year career.
The Giants can save $17 million by cutting Eli Manning this offseason and a decision to add Bridgewater would almost certainly have to rely on the team’s willingness to part with the two-time Super Bowl MVP.
