The New York Giants locker room doesn’t seem to believe much in quarterback Eli Manning.

According to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan, “the belief is not there” when it comes to the Giants locker room trusting Eli Manning and his ability to win them games.

He adds that guys have privately “complained” to him about Manning no longer being a capable starting quarterback.

Raanan states that players are interested in seeing rookie Kyle Lauletta get some playing time as the season dwindles down.

The Giants are in the midst of a two-game winning streak as they enter a Week 12 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles.

But they still have only three wins on the season.

Manning has played well coming out of the Bye Week after throwing just eight touchdown passes in the first eight games.

But wins against the San Francisco 49ers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, two of the league’s worst teams, can help add context to Manning’s play.

With the Giants able to release Manning at the end of the season and save $17 million in cap space, it looks like the end is near for the veteran quarterback.
